We received proposals for Consulting Services Agreements and Testing and Inspection Services for the Interchange. The proposals will be evaluated and recommendations will be given to the Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority Board in late March, early April.

The Interchange Urban Design Guidelines are complete! The guidelines are a set of design standards that have been created to:

• Ensure the site is designed in a manner consistent with the community vision

• Provide for successful public open spaces

• Establish the look and feel of the project as it fits into the surrounding neighborhoods

U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar joined Hennepin County commissioners, the Metropolitan Council, local elected officials, the Minnesota Twins and other business representatives to celebrate the $10 million TIGER grant The Interchange project received from the U.S. Department of Transportation. Klobuchar concluded her visit with a short tour of the nearby historic Ford Center building, which opened its doors to new tenants earlier this week.
